Guided tour of NAÏV: Visions of Ukraine

Join us for a special guided tour of “NAÏV: Visions of Ukraine” with Kateryna Stukalova, curator at Ukraine House in Denmark, and discover the artists, stories and ideas behind the exhibition.

Bringing together more than 100 works by 20 Ukrainian artists, NAÏV: Visions of Ukraine explores a distinctive visual language rooted in everyday life, folk culture, memory and personal experience. Spanning different generations and regions of Ukraine, the exhibition shows how naïve art can be at once intimate and imaginative, while deeply connected to Ukraine’s cultural history.

During the tour, Kateryna will guide you through a selection of works and introduce some of the artistic voices represented in the exhibition, including Mariia Prymachenko, Polina Raiko, Hanna Sobachko-Shostak and Panas Yarmolenko.

Along the way, you’ll discover the stories, symbols and cultural contexts behind the works and gain a deeper understanding of Ukrainian naïve art and its place in the country’s visual culture.

Whether you have already visited the exhibition or are experiencing it for the first time, the tour offers a chance to see NAÏV: Visions of Ukraine from a new perspective.
