In early 2025, Ukraine House launched the Rooted & Rising umbrella initiative to systematize the existing and plan future project in support of the Ukrainian youth in Scandinavia. Among its projects - Empowering Tomorrow, the flagship youth leadership and civic education initiative of Ukraine House in Denmark in collaboration with the Danish Association of Folk High Schools, Nansen Academy, Nordic Ukraine Forum, Building Ukraine Together (BUR), and the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House, as well as film screenings, poetry readings, social gatherings and lectures for Ukrainian youth.

The Empowering Tomorrow seminar is designed to nurture resilience, intellectual autonomy, and democratic engagement among displaced Ukrainian youth and young professionals in the Nordic countries. After two completed iterations, the program now has more than 100 alumni across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

For its second edition in March 2025, "Empowering Tomorrow" took place in Lillehammer, Norway. The seminar gathered over 50 young Ukrainians from across Nordic countries for three days of dialogue, civic education, and cultural reflection. Participants took part in workshops on Ukrainian civil society and cultural resilience, Nordic democratic traditions, grassroots advocacy, disinformation resistance, and project management. Beyond learning, the seminar offered daily debriefs, cosy evenings, and a moving fireside poetry night featuring readings from Ukraine's Executed Renaissance to contemporary wartime poets.
