Taste of Ukraine: Summer Dinner

Ukraine House in Denmark and our dear partners at Motanka, first Ukrainian-cuisine food spot in Copenhagen, invite you to the final edition of Taste of Ukraine before the summer break. This evening is dedicated to one of the most beloved dishes of Ukrainian cuisine: Chicken Kyiv.

Named after Ukraine's capital, Chicken Kyiv has become known far beyond the country's borders. This year, as Kyiv celebrates its 1,544th anniversary, the dish also serves as a small tribute to a city whose history and resilience continue to inspire.

The evening will begin with a summer tomato filled with delicate crab salad and crispy croutons. The main course features Chicken Kyiv served with new potatoes and a fresh seasonal salad. For dessert, we will enjoy thin pancakes with poppy seeds and cherries under a berry sauce, inspired by the flavours of a Ukrainian summer.

As always, this dinner is about more than food. It is a chance to meet new people and reconnect with familiar faces, while sharing Ukrainian summer food.
