Youth at the Forefront of Democracy

Ukraine House in Denmark invites you to two panel discussions on March 21 exploring the role of youth in shaping and sustaining democratic societies in Ukraine and Denmark, and how you can become a part of it!

🔹 Expert Panel: Youth at the Forefront of Democracy

This panel will highlight the historical and present experiences of youth movements in both countries. Ukrainian speakers will share the development of civil society with a focus on youth, including lessons from the Revolution of Dignity. Danish speakers will reflect on the engagement of young people in Denmark and long-term cooperation between Danish and Ukrainian youth. We will also explore how young people have historically taken the lead in defending and building democratic values.

🔹 Youth Panel: Solidarity between Ukrainian and Danish Youth

Young representatives from Ukraine and Denmark will share their experiences in youth organizations and political movements, and tell how you can join the opportunities for knowledge exchange. The discussion will include insights from projects such as study tours in Moldova organized in collaboration with Silba, which focus on learning and sharing democratic practices between Danish and Ukrainian youth.
